This presentation explains the differences between a concept note and a project proposal. It provides specifics for how to write a proposal, including main elements, identifying and analyzing the problem, formulating objectives, determining secondary objectives, writing SMART goals and designing a workplan. Exercises are provided. It also provides suggestions for how to prepare a fundraising plan and includes a template for a donors database.
