Civic Engagement projects funded by MEPI focused on CSO capacity building and advocacy, and civic education. Projects have aimed to strengthen local engagement, CSO national dialogue, voter ownership, leadership skills and NGO governance.
This course teaches the correct methods for dealing with differences and the skills necessary for negotiation before reaching violence. It details the degrees of conflict, how conflict evolves, and types and causes of conflict. The presentation then provides suggestions for conflict management skills.
Through this course, participants acquire basic financial skills that can help them manage their finances effectively and achieve greater financial stability and independence. It focuses on four main components: money fundamentals (What is money? What is its role? Value vs. cost? Needs vs. wants?), saving and budgeting, smart spending, and income and creating opportunities.
This presentation introduces participants to time management skills. It describes the benefits of time management, identifying SMART goals, highlighting the importance of planning and routine setting to achieve goals, and, finally, evaluating common time management tools.
