The curriculum focuses on effectiveness of laws at the international and national levels. Major themes include elements that make laws effective, the importance of the legislative branch and the legislative process for developing effective laws. It provides facilitator's notes, including key learning objectives, glossary of terms, activities, handouts and case study scenarios for a 1.5 hour session.
